Cheap Optoma HD20 Projector

I realize that when speaking of an item like this that using cheap is not the best term to use. But, it is hard to find a projector of this quality for this cheap. And, there is another cost to consider. Bulbs go out on these projectors and will need to be replaced. You can expect to get about 3000 hours out of this bulb if using the bright mode or 4000 hours if using the standard mode. The bright mode is more for conditions with low ambient light and you can use the standard mode in rooms that are dark or very dim.

Another way you save money with the Optoma HD20 Projector is that the projector was designed to be eco friendly. Remember Eco friendly is nice for the environment, but it is also typically good for your wallet as well. This is accomplished with its automatic shutdown and remote management feature. Furthermore, when in standby mode it uses less than one watt of power

The Optoma HD20 Projector Reviews

Reviews of Optoma HD20 projector are pretty favorable. Many comment that the price for the projector rivals what you would get paying much more for a higher end projector. They do mention to keep in mind what you will be using for the source because that is the true indicator of what kind of quality you will get. For example, connecting a satellite receiver will not get you 1080p anyway whereas a Blu-Ray player will.

Buyers of the HD20 like the small form factor which makes the projector portable and easy to move around. Other mention that the black level of the Optoma HD20 Projector actually improves after using the bulb for about 200 hours.
