The Vivitek Qumi Q2 boasts 300 lumens. Now, 300 lumens may not seem like a lot compared to other projectors on the market, but you have to remember this is a small projector. However, there are people saying they are projecting images on 80” screens with ambient light without any issues at all. It is going to work better under low light conditions, but remember this is meant for a quick and ready projector.
This projector would not be suited for conditions with bright light. But, it would be great in situations where little to no ambient light is present. It would be great for gaming, movies or business presentations in low-light situations on smaller screens.

The Vivitek Qumi Q2 has a 720p native resolution (1280×800) with a maximum resolution of 1600×1200. The aspect ratio is 16:9, 4:3 and 16:10 native.
This little projector outputs a pretty high resolution rate. You do not have to have a big heavy projector to get high resolution.
The projector can work with just about any type of source including Blu-Ray players. It just won’t show the true 1080p resolution as the output, but it can still handle the input of the device.

Pros: Probably the biggest selling point of the Vivitek Qumi Q2 projector is its size. Weighing in at 1.4 pounds it is easy to carry. It is also small enough to fit into your pocket. Then the fact it is easy to set up and connect various devices like smartphones, computers, usb flash drives means it is simple to use.
Cons: It has a low lumens rating at 300. However, people are still reporting good picture quality with the 300 lumens rating. You need to realize that this projector was built with extreme portability in mind. If you do not care about portability then you may need to look at another projector. However, keep in mind that the quality reporting in even low light situations are still favorable. Others also state that the included cables are under a foot long so you may want to invest in longer cables.
